Lastuvka A ex Acer monspessulanum ::taxonomy:Zdenek on JAN.21.2013: Krone (1911) in his description of Ph. fiumella gives as host plant Acer campestre. Gregor and Povolny (1950) concluded that the determination of the host plant by Krone was incorrect and that it was really Acer monspessulanum. We considered for some time this decision by Gregor and Povolny for ungrounded (and the genitalia figure of Krones specimen by Gregor for inaccurate or for an abnormal specimen) and we determined the specimens from Acer campestre for the right fiumella, but we were wrong. We could compare other material reared from Acer monspessulanum in 2011 and 2012, and the colouration and genitalia morphology of these specimens are entirely consistent with conclusions by Gregor and Povolny, and with genitalia morphology of one of fiumella types figured by them. So that the three specimens from Acer monspessulanum are Ph. fiumella. The genitalia of Ph. fiumella are quite characteristic and clearly different from ochreojunctella and from other species of this group.::endTaxonomy:minenfund: nov 1969 Host: Acer monspessulanum Gerfried Deschka 1970-04-11 Slovenia SI Lipizza 0 reared AACTCTTTATTTTATTTTTGGAATTTGAGCAGGAATAATTGGATCTTCTTTAAGAATTATAATTCGAGCTGAATTAGGAAACCCAGGATCATTAATTGGAGATGATCAAATTTATAATACAATTGTAACAGCTCATGCATTTATTATAATCTTTTTTATAGTAATACCTATTATAATTGGAGGATTTGGAAATTGACTTGTTCCTTTAATACTTGGAGCTCCTGATATAGCTTTCCCCCGTCTTAATAATATAAGATTTTGACTATTACCCCCTTCTATTTTACTTTTAATTTCAAGAAGAGTAGTAGAAAATGGAGCAGGGACAGGATGAACTGTTTACCCCCCCCTGTCTTCTAATATTGCTCATAGAGGGAGATCTGTAGATTTAGCAATTTTTTCATTACATCTTGCTGGAATTTCCTCAATTTTAGGTGCAATTAATTTTATTACAACTATTATTAATATACGAACTAATGGAATAAAATTCGATAATATACCATTATTTGTTTGAGCTGTTGGTATTACAGCATTATTACTCTTATTATCATTACCTGTTTTAGCTGGAGCAATTACTATATTATTAACAGATCGAAATTTAAATACATCTTTTTTTGACCCTGCTGGAGGGGGAGATCCAATTTTATACCAACATCTATTT Centre for Biodiversity Genomics 2011-05-20 BOLD_DATASET_CODES:DS-EUGRA1,DS-EUGRACI2,DS-EURINSCT,DS-LEPMAY11,DS-MARKALL,DS-MARKGEN3,DS-MOB113,GRPAL GRPAL824-12 LD1ochre LD1ochre 2529720 BOLD:AAU3129 Research Collection of Ales Lastuvka Animalia Arthropoda Insecta Lepidoptera Gracillariidae Lithocolletinae Phyllonorycter Phyllonorycter fiumella Krone, 1911 Gerfried Deschka A Acer monspessulanum ::taxonomy:Krone (1911) in his description of Ph. fiumella gives as host plant Acer campestre.
